My ISP has a DHCP server that i want to check with DHCP find.
However when use DHCP find it sends a request but doesn't show any info or get ip back.
All my ip's are set to static, so that DHCP client doesn't interfere with DHCP find but still doesn't show DHCP server.
Any idea what's wrong ?

| | At command prompt type:
ipcofig /all
OR
Netstat -r
One of the above will give you the info needed, if DHCP Find doesn't do it for you.
Private networks without DHCP won't show as not DHCP. On your network connection for the internet connection. Right click - Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) - Properties - Advanced - Wins - Net Bios Setting = Default \/ This will tell your connection to get DHCP, it really shouldn't be used on Enable or Disable NetBios setting at all. |
