(1) The Search Tool goes to the, presumably, "first" sector where the input string can be found. There seems to be no obvious way to find subsequent occurrences of that string (I tried the typical F3) - it would be useful to be able to do that. On the topic of searching, a nice touch would be to "highlight" the found search string, rather than only have the cursor at the start of the found sector.
(2) Regarding selection of the disk, it would be easiest, in my view, to (also) display the disk letters actually used by Windows (C: & D: in my case, master & slave) rather than just the "logical" (D: & G: in my case) and "physical" (1 & 2) designations - I would assume Windows' C: is Logical D: & Physical 1, and Windows' D: is Logical G: & Physical 2, but I am not absolutely certain.
Thanks for your programs!

Hi there.. thanks for your ideas... ive been planning on completely re-writing the sector editor for a LONG time and combining it into a hex file editor... hopefully ill get a chance to do it sometime in the near future!

As for the physical disks.. its hard to say.. it depends on how they are phyically connected to the pc.. physical 0 is the first disk teh bios finds during boot up and so forth...

Cheers
