The thing is when I attempt to build using Write from disk, the only options are my RestorSystem partition (E:) and my memory stick (J:) I waant to selct my C: - how do I do this? |

By this it could be an antivirus program, a disk editor or anything that requires exclusive access of the drive.... are you able to open the disk in programs like my sector editor?? |

PE is "Portable Edition". It runs 100% off a USB stick / CD / DVD. It doesnt copy anything to your system. With this, you can run virii scanners totally independently of whats on your hard drive.
Because the windows install on your hard drive is not loaded, you can easily delete, scan, manipulate as you choose. Put some of roadkil's tools onto the BartPE disk, and you should be good to go.
Enjoy.
