I have a multi-card flash reader that causes a "Drive not Ready" windows error with options Cancel, Try Again, and Continue each time I launch either Disk Img or Disk Speed. It may cause the problems in other programs- I will test if you want.

Thanks for the info - can you tell me what operating system you are using? And does this happen as soon as you start the programs?
