It may be a silly question but I'm trying to understand if there is a behavioral difference between not checking “Set Maximum Retries” and checking it but setting the retry count to zero? I had the box unchecked and it seems the program skipped my file that has a bad sector rather than just skipping the section of the file that can’t be read.

Also, the help is ambiguous and could be interpreted that there is one retry when the box is unchecked. I assume that's not the case and if so you can delete the "more than once" part in the sentence.

Hi there.. as default the system will retry reading all data on the disk once. if you want to increase this value if the data is REALLY imporatnt you can have unstoppable copier try and re read the data more times and hopefully get a better result.
