| | There are problems with SSD disks. It seems it does not read (or at least it does not write) whole SSD while saving it to file. The is an error saying image creation failed.
For example image file made with dd under linux is 24576 bytes bigger (32017022976 bytes vs 32017047552 bytes for 16GB PATA mPCIE SSD)
Also it would be wise to list partition letters residing on physical disk on the list or disk model (and serial) because capacity is not enough. Connecting 4 same size disks is confusing if you need to make an image of one of them.
Writing an image back to SSD also fails. I think it is getting truncated while reading and there is no harm done most of the times (zeroes at the end of image). |
