Using Diskwipe (DW) on external hard drive partition - blank disk setting. PC is XP SP3. Noticed DW 'hangs' at some point over 50-60% progress. The percentage progress continues displaying, but hard drive write led stops flickering showing no writing to the drive.
In addition the percentage progress indicator display in the DW user interface starts to become pixelated with scrolling lines obscuring the display indicator. The rest of the DW interface is fine. On completion it reports in my case:
"Completed - 119075481 Errors" (Thank you very much). Have not seen this behaviour before when using DW. Any ideas as to what is happening with the application? Has anybody else on the forum experienced this. Feedback really would be appreciated guys, thanks. |
