I'm using Diskwipe, primarily as a 'burn-in' program. I first found your program when I was looking to clear some very old (like 1.7G IBM) drives before I got rid of them. I quickly realized that it would also work to continuously exercise a drive without thrashing it. I'll let it random write 3-5 loops, format, cool and repeat. After a couple of days of that I feel confident that the drive won't crap-out too soon.
