I've search your forums and have seen some references to users trying "Undelete" to read C:\ in attempts to find the recycle (trash) bin.
In my case, (and obviously my brain went soft) I was installing "Comodo Antivirus Premium" with my externals connected; which contains "ALL" of my programs to the laptop in process.
Unfortunately, when Comodo was installed but not yet setup, it jumped the gun and began to look inside the external and as it turned out it immediately deleted, or at best, put the offending "filez" into quarantine.
Quarantine I more or less (actually I lost a few files) handled but Comodo flatly deleted some important fixem files from the externals drives into an unknown location.
Foolishly, after retrieving most of the files put into quarantine, temper got the better of me. I used ursoft's Your Uninstaller Pro v. 7.3.2011.04

The Incidentals and my questions are these.
1. Op Sys Win & Ultimate. v 7600 via XWinVer_demo only provides limited .nfo n Win 7 Ultimate Enterprise but super fresh install. Win 7 and MS Office, Your uninstaller, what used to be Comodo and finally, XWinVer_demo which I believe runs on top =(not write to the disk). Just in case it did, I ran it from a thumb drive which probably ...hell who knows what and where it did...
2 User Status: Net user administrator /active:yes
3. Externals which are actually 2 internals;
a Seagate 2 TB nearly full and a 340 gig Western Digital also on a diet housed within a Thermaltake dual usb 2 or 3 open air enclosure.
4. Actually I am not certain if the missing files are hidden somewhere in C;:\ or within the Mystic External drives. There are two inside of an open air toaster
5. RK's "undelete will not allow me access to C:\
6. RK's Undelete will not allow me access to either of 2 External /internal drives.
7. I have not written to any of the 3 hard drives since my accident. Other than RK's Undelete which I am presuming to be a read only program that will not write over existing data.
8. I am out of ideas, coffee and lack experience.
9. Anyone who might belly up to the bar, please understand, I am only a rookie that is able to search & loves to read.
I am able to follow detailed instructions but left to my my own devices I aam all guts with fat thumbs within the hearts or livers of the matters described, I cannot write or read code, sorry folks I'm not your man.
10. I am just a guy that needs some help.
11. Just so you know, although I can deliver the fresh new computer without finding my lost data. I am due to deliver under threat of castration by 4:00 PM EST America.
12. I figure that I am in the right place to find an answer or at least a crafted clue.
