Could you also make a low level manufacture secure disk wipe tool. Where needs password entered to secure wipe hdd. This tool would not need wipe passes as one pass and all data is gone forever.
G Hughes HDDErase did one but only for dos. There is Victoria for windows use but many options unavailable secure erase for one (needs exspensive registartion) that isn't only a secure wipe tool many features including working with firmware (registered version).
Would be nice to have same type of tool available for use with Windows. Having to reboot go to dos is tedious for secure wiping a drive. Make the password inbuilt so is same for everyone. Such as G Huges HDDErase uses password idrive |
