I am new to this forum and would like to know if any of it's applications can convert a RAW file type to it's original NTFS File type? I have many photos that were on a hard disk that was NTFS, but after putting it (the hard drive) into a new machine this particular partition changed from NTFS to RAW, now I can't access those photos. Can you help??
Thanks

You have to initialize HD first before you can create partitions and format it, initializing HD also done in the disk management, just right click my computer and select manage, if you can't initialize, check if services logical disk manager and logical disk administrative service are enable. initializing disk by default will popup a wizard when you open disk manager, then tick disks you need to initialize and when hit next, it allows you to check to convert to dynamic disk. if you just want ordinary basic disks, just unchecked all.
