My C: (1Tb drive, with 82Gb of data) has bad sectors.
I want to image the C: to a 200Gb drive.
When running RawCopy 1.2, I can see the C: as logical and physical. I can only see the 200Gb drive as physical but not logical (currently/temporarily named W:)
Regardless, I don't want to copy physical to physical as the drive sizes are different and the 1Tb drive also has 100Mb as 'System Reserved'.
I continued the copy from C: to the 200Gb physical drive, but after a number of attempts, I still says copying finished but shows nothing copied to the W:
W: is formatted in NTFS (Healthy, active, primary partition)
Any thoughts would be most gratefully appreciated.
Thanks muchly

When I changed the 200Gb drive's letter from W: to G: I was able to see the drive as a logical drive.
However, after the 'copy was complete', there was still nothing in the G: I received a message saying that I needed to format the drive (again). |
