I am copying data from a local machine to a network location.
Example:
Source - C:\Documents and Settings\User profile
Target - \\server\drive\folder\blah blah
Using version 5, I get an error saying "Target:Problem with syntax file name or something" I don't have the exact error now in front of me.
But using version 4.4, the data copies just like normal like italways does, with the same Source and Target locations....
any idea? |

"Target - the filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect"
But the previous versions did not care about that.
Usually the folders and directories I copy to have spaces and dashes in the name, or tend to be long, since I name the folder by date and time and people's names.
Why does the new version prevent me from doing this??

Also as well as this if I do a batch job instead it copies all the files but not the folders or directory structure. Any help with this would be appreciated.
PS I am running teracopy as well in case this may be causing problems |

To accomodate for lllooooonnnggg path names windows has a new naming convention starting paths with \\?\ to bypass the 256 character limit. When implementing this, i believe i broke some of the network functions. Version 5.2 should have a fix for this.
