I have Windows XP Professional SP 3 installed.
For some reason the boot.ini was crashed and diddn't work anymore.
I used UBCD for fixing.
When I start my computer, this information shows up:
"Boot sector created with BootBuild from www.roadkil.net
This is not a bootable disk, please insert a bootable disk and press any key!"
My question, what to do next? I don't have a repair CD of Windows XP and I don't want to lose my current installation because then I will lose all my e-mails, documents and more...
Thanks for helping. |

I'm having exactly the same problem as Kilian :(
I do have my Windows XP installation CD, but as Kilian says, I don't want to lose my current installation because of documents, photos, etc.
Please help |

It will make your disk bootable again and restore the file system files needed to get things up and running!
