Thanks for providing the software that you do! I like Unstoppable Copy's interface and functionality.

I have a question about how long it takes to perform a copy. I'm trying to recover some files from a hard drive that is having sector errors. The OS is Windows 7, a recent fresh install. The drive is not running the OS and is not being used by any other programs. Yesterday (about 18 hours ago) I started a oopy of my old outlook.pst file. The file is 440 MB, the current bytes copies is 23.31 MB, good bytes copied 22 MB, corrupt bytes copied 1.31 MB, transfer rate 420 B/sec, yes that's B/sec!!

My question is whether or not this copy makes sense to keep running? If it is able to recover the file, I'm ok with letting it run, but it's probably going to take 10 days or more. I was hoping that it was slow in a section of the file and would speed up again.

Any guidance would be most appreciated!
Thanks!

I have used Rawcopy quite a few times and found that on drives that have a lot of bad sectors, or mechanical issues, it has taken more than 3-4 days to clone. Usually it will get stuck on bad sectors for a while, but good sectors will go by faster.
