hi,
I've got a 2.5" 250gb disk in my laptop which is failing & I've been given a 2.5" 160Gb disk & want to know if rawcopy will copy the 250gb drive contents onto the 160Gb without me having to do anything like resize the partitions to within the 160gb limits using 3rd-party software like partitionmajic?

You can do the transfer but any data stored past the 160GB mark of the disk will not be copied. The best option is to use something like unstoppable copy to transfer the files from one disk to another, then since windows wont boot, just boot from teh CD and run the setup in repair mode to recreate the boot loader etc.
