I believe the problem you are having is related to the register holding the amount of data that has been written/read has overflowed due to the size of the disk and is causing a division issue.. Will address in the next update!

I too am getting this as a progress indicator while trying to restore an image file. I'm using ver 1.15. The image save worked fine.

Does my C drive need to be partitioned or left as UNallocated space? Any other requirements?

I have just put a new version online to fix the progress indicator issues. I have also fixed up a bug i found on Vista where the writes fail on some drives.

As for the disk, the program can write to partitioned or unpartitioned space. But if you say image C: its best to create a new C: of the same sizes and write the image back to that... If you image the entire disk there is no need for partitions are the partition table is overwritten.

Keep me posted if any more strange things pop up!

Thanks again!

What kinda of drive are you restoring too?? basically if your recovering a drive letter you need to recover it to a partition of the same size and file system type. If you imaged the entire disk as a phsyical drive you should be able to just restore the image to the physical drive and it will recreate the parittions etc for you.

Sorry for the delay in replying! I spent last week in hospital with apendicitis! The file upload only allows images ... are you able to just email it to me? roadkil@roadkil.net

Cheers!
