Up til now I haven't even been able to copy them off of the CD on to a HDD so I could attempt to repair them. With this program of yours, I have been able to copy 3 of those 4 corrupted files. One won't copy, even in your program. The source disc shows the file size as 11077Kb. When I try the Unstoppable Copier it flashes the popup box that usually announces the completion of the copy process and just says "O files copied". When I look in the target directory that file (let's call it XYZ2), is listed but it shows the file size as 236Kb for XYZ2. I thought that Roadkill's copier would force-copy whatever it found on a storage medium into whatever dir/folder that I request? I didn't think that it would refuse to copy something. Doesn't it just take whatever jumble of bits and bytes it finds and copy them verbatim to the designated target file? Please, what could be the problem? Is there a way to fix it? I can't really work on repairing the file until I get it off that old CD and onto a hard drive or other writable storage device. Can I get some help on this?
Thanks, Robbie |
