I clicked "Add New" to create a post but don't see it or any mention that it may appear later, so I'll try again.

I tried to use FTP Probe for "Creates a fully indexed html output of all the files available for download from an FTP server" I started by trying it with a FTP hosted on the PC I'm currently using.

I entered the "Server/IP" 192.168.1.2 and clicked Start and the program reports 1 IP scanned and creates a blank html page in the working directory.

The FTP server shows no contention attempts while trying this.

So how exactly does one "Create a fully indexed html output of all the files available for download from an FTP server" using FTP Probe.

By the way the browse button for the working directory doesn't work.

Hi there... not sure why you are getting no connection attempts! Is your firewalling software blocking FTP Probe? The program should work very simply out of the box with no configuration other than the path to put the html files it creates. What FTP server program are you using aswell? have you tried mapping something like ftp.debian.org or similar?
