I'm using the ultimate boot cd with unstoppable copier on it for my business. The problem is, it keeps on skipping files. If it doesn't catch them all on the first pass, no big deal as long as there's some code in the program to compare the source & destination folders to see if there's any discrepancies, and if so, find them & only transfer the missing files. That shouldn't be rocket science. For example, one of my customers had a folder with over 86,000 files in it and a few thousand folders. It took 24 hours to copy and was missing 6 files. That doesn't sound like much, but they have to have all of them or it could be a disaster. So I ran the program again for ANOTHER 24 hours and it was still missing the 6 files. So next I manually scanned all the sub-folders and files. This took many hours and I still couldn't find them. How can this be fixed? I just ran into this again today - a customer had 99,000 files in one folder with thousands of sub-folders and it was missing about 350 files, so now I have to spend many many hours trying to find the missing files. I have speed the slider set a bit to the left of full speed and the box checked for 2 retries, yet it still skips files. It's killing me. If I put it much slower, it just takes way too long to copy. What can I do? I'm now looking around for other copying programs.
