Kilian 10 August 2010 | Help Requests | BootBuild question Hello,
I have Windows XP Professional SP 3 installed.
For some reason the boot.ini was crashed and diddn\'t work anymore.
I used UBCD for fixing.
When I start my computer, this information shows up:
\"Boot sector created with BootBuild from www.roadkil.net
This is not a bootable disk, please insert a bootable disk and press any key!\"
My question, what to do next? I don\'t have a repair CD of Windows XP and I don\'t want to lose my current installation because then I will lose all my e-mails, documents and more...
Thanks for helping. |

tforsyth 6 August 2010 | Help Requests | Understanding Disk Speed results I\'ve been trying to gather disk speed results for a number of servers using the DiskSpeed utility, but I\'m scratching my head at some of the results. The utility returns a list of \'Block Size\' results, and I was trying to understand if this relates to \'cluster size\' in a Windows system. For example, the cluster size by default on NTFS formatted drives is 4KB, so should I expect my disk speed performance to be inline with the 4KB Block Size results? If this is the case I\'m seeing some much different results and I\'d like to understand them. Not sure what additional information to include in this email to start with, but if anyone can help point me in the right direction I\'d appreciate it.
Thanks,
Troy. |

jfragale 29 July 2010 | Feature Requests | Option to skip source/target pair on errors in bat Hi,
there are many cases when one may wish to have an \"all or nothing\" option in copying directories. So, I think that for Batch Mode it would be useful to provide some option where if any individual files should be corrupted, that source/target pair may be skipped. |

corpitsol 21 July 2010 | Help Requests | Unstoppable Shutting Down Host Hello,
I\'m having an issue with unstoppable Copier on a server system running 2008. This also happened to me on Windows 7 as well both x32/x64bit.
When copies complete, they attempt to shutdown the server, this is without the \"Power down after copy\" box checked. This is also with the stand-alone version currently, but It has happened with the installable as well.
What can I do to resolve this issue? I\'m having to babysit the copies because our servers keep being shutoff by the program!
Thanks,
Matthew |
