See the FAQ for further discussion on this topic.[/quote] Other tools not quite strraight forward as this. Which has ultra simple menu 123 type choices. In seconds can be secure erasing a hdd. I have used this tool from cd many times. Roadkil i think your secure erase is not the same as this. Secure erasing using manufacture low level. If your does please update the download section and what password your tool sets for secure erase. The tool above sets always idrive as the password. If something goes wrong and able to restart process the password idrive will let you continue. Other tools which don\'t have a simple menu or as straight forward are MHDD and Victoria. Though both of these toold do a whole lot more low level hdd diganostic and logical repair, than a secure erase. Hope this is enough help for tose that come here looking for it :)
